UPS Symphony (Supply chain solutions)

Details about this project

The goal was to create a comprehensive app for supply chain solutions to unify the five siloed groups UPS shipping and receiving. These included (GLD) global distribution, (GFF) global freight forwarding (ocean, air, multi), ground (truck transport), Coyote, capital, and brokerage. This was a major data visualization undertaking as the users would need to review shipments as they are placed within the five groups, located in the world, type of transportation, and finally timeline – which is key to making it all run seamlessly together. If this unification could be reached, it would make the major groups connect in an easy way that had not yet been achieved in the industry.
