Design and process

Each mural starts with the story behind it. For Día de los Muertos, I wanted to capture the experience of my good friends Carlos and Daphne: in the town where they live, they create paper mâché masks, the men dance with them, and the women paint their faces.

Larger walls are a team effort. The Montessori garden mural was painted with Natalie Enzmann, Melissa Enzmann, and Zach Herndon.

Painted scenes for events and photo spots live on Interactive Backdrops.
